Barok and Takya Bisaya Podcast in Cebuano Language
Barok and Takya are the primary hosts of Bisaya Podcast. They started podcasting, way back in 2018, on which it’s a free-flowing conversation talking in Cebuano Language. They both came from Iligan City, and they are proud Bisdak that want to use their dialect through sharing their experiences by podcasting.
Barok loves to listen to the radio while driving to work, and he noticed that podcasting is significantly getting more popular every day. He also saw that there’s not much Cebuano dialect and that it is mainly the Tagalog and English spoken on the podcasting world. Barok thought of starting a podcast, but how? So, when he came home from work, he asked Takya if they could try creating a podcast in a Cebuano dialect to cater all Bisaya Filipinos. And that’s where Barok and Takya Bisaya Podcast has begun. That was December 2018 when the show started on which they talked about Christmas that it ended up so dull and lousy. Still, Barok and Takya managed to pull it out comfortable by talking to one another on the microphone in their Cebuano language. It’s a very different feeling and environment, talking into a dead air and thinking – are there any Filipino listening to them?
